Retraction----

So as you get to know me over the next year of blogging you will soon learn that I speak from the heart and sometimes forget my filter along the way! I will always be the first to apologize for my mouth and I will issue a retraction if my mouth went public...
I spoke too soon yesterday when I said that my loving husband wouldn't root for OSU! Little did I know that he would & did. His excuse for his new found support was "It’s the Big 12 Baby"...
Now on a side note I will tell you that all football season I have attended every
OSU game for work, and I always have a guest ticket! I have offered that ticket
to my husband numerous times and his polite and loving response has always been
"You couldn’t pay me to step foot in that stadium, I "F"ing Hate that
school" to which I have politely responded “But Honey, they are a Big 12 team
and as long as they’re not playing your Sonners... It would be fun! Please
go...."!
So back to my retraction! I am so sorry that I ever said he wouldn’t root for our STATE team... He did!

Now herein lies the problem with this retraction... it’s the epitome of a double negative! I have retracted my negative comments about him (negative #1) and then he turns around and negates it all together! So as we sat at Buffalo Wild Wings (Buffalo Wilkie Wings) or as I refer to it Chuck E Cheese... My sweet and loving husband starts clapping and screaming for Arizona as soon as they made their first significant play!!!! EXCUSE ME???? I was so very confused by this outburst (as well as the entire restaurant donning their ORANGE & BLACK attire) and I immediately jumped into defensive mode! See I thought my loving sweet Sonner Fanatic Husband had come to his senses! NOT!!! His next excuse for his negative actions (negative #2) was as follows... "The coach of Arizona is a Stoops Boy, so by default I have to root for AZ and the Stoops Boys"... ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!

So... I retract my original negative blog about my sweet loving husband and I am putting out there this new and filtered blog...

He is the Poster Boy for the Sooner Stereo Type of a Sooner Fan..... I won’t even use the expletives that come to my mind to describe this stereo type I will just say this... He is very confused...

Definition of CONFUSED:

· baffled: perplexed by many conflicting situations or statements; filled with bewilderment; "obviously bemused by his questions"; "bewildered and confused"; "a cloudy and confounded philosopher"; "just a mixed-up kid"; "he felt lost on the first day of school"

· lacking orderly continuity; "a confused set of instructions"; "disconnected fragments of a story"; "scattered thoughts"· having lost your bearings; confused as to time or place or personal identity; "I frequently find myself disoriented"

· mentally confused; unable to think with clarity or act intelligently

Loving and supportive wife of loving and confused husband known as "Wilkie"

Go Pokes!!!

So here's the deal! I am at heart a OU fan 100%, but what's the problem with rooting for ANY other Oklahoma team when they are playing anyone other than OU? I ask that question because I get soooooo much grief from my spouse for ever being "pro-cowboys"... Let me pose this to you... How is it any different than lets say a Cubs fan rooting for the Texas Rangers in the World Series since the Cubs didn't make it to the World Series! Just curious... So tonight as I don my OSU T-shirt in public and with my husband beside me... I will watch as he makes a complete ass of himself and roots for Arizona... I don't think hes ever even been to Arizona! Here's your sign...

Signed,

Loving Wife and Highly Intelligent OU fan!
